8M: The importance of communicating equally

Each 8 March Women around the world wake up with a special feeling: a mixture of pride, rage and hope.

  • Pride for the tireless fight that has brought us here.
  • Rabia for all that remains to be achieved.
  • Esperanza because we continue moving forward together.

The networks are filled with messages about feminism, equality and rights, while the streets turn purple with thousands of voices crying out for a fairer future.

The importance of communication in the fight for equality

Since I was little I learned that being a woman means courage, fight and resistance. throughout history, we have shared a common battle, regardless of our differences, and the key to continue moving forward is communication.

  • How do we represent ourselves in the media?
  • Who stars in the stories we tell?
  • Who do we give visibility to in the professional field??

It is not enough to change a few words in a speech. If we don't communicate it, does not exist. and in Water and Salt we are aware of it.

Companies committed to female leadership

Hoy, Companies have the power to make a real impact, creating narratives that reflect equality and promoting female references.

From Water and Salt, We work so that each message is authentic and transforms society. That's why, many companies led by women trust us to be speakers of their mission.

Examples of female leadership that we promote:

  • Womanation, the movement led by María José Valero, together with the engineers Regina Monsalve and Angélica Gómez.
  • Technovation Girls CV, a global program that promotes technological entrepreneurship among girls and young people.
  • 10kfem race, the first 10km race in the Women's category and approved in Spain, con Mara Aparicio at the helm for eleven years.
